GenoPheno4Trait aims to improve food safety and reduce food waste by decreasing food contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. This project addresses the control of L. monocytogenes throughout the food chain, contributing not only to a reduction in foods contaminated with L. monocytogenes but also with other pathogens that may be present.
Effective control of L. monocytogenes will contribute to improved human health by reducing foodborne listeriosis and supporting the sustainability of healthcare and social care systems.
