Brief Description of the Project:
Colab4Food's mission is to promote the link between academia and industry through a collaborative structure based on knowledge and creativity. Our motto is "Innovating First - A Catalyst for new Discoveries" which reflects our aim to rapidly develop innovative market-orientated solutions for the agri-food sector in the areas of: food safety and novel foods, healthy nutrition and wellbeing, sustainable food processes and the circular economy. Colab4Food's ambition is to become a key platform for collaborative innovation, knowledge and technology transfer in the national agri-food sector, representing Portugal internationally. This is driven by a sustainable innovation ecosystem (R&D projects, technology transfer) and a value-2-market approach aimed at developing market-orientated solutions and unlocking growth opportunities (competitive financing and networking). Our vision is based on a high-performance culture/talent and a customer- and consumer-centred approach.
