Focused on the development of a support tool to help food companies in their decarbonization process, SHAPING allowed knowledge sharing between teams about techno-economic models and emerging food processing technologies. Based on this knowledge exchange, a simple tool, integrating techno-economic assessment with Carbon Footprint calculation, was developed to support the risk/benefit evaluation of adopting new technologies.
