WASTELESS

The WASTELESS project aims to develop recommendations and tools to measure Food Loss and Waste (FLW) in critical and less-studied food supply chains, as well as to propose methods for quantifying related data.

At the same time, it will develop an innovative set of decision-support tools for all stakeholders working across the food supply chain throughout the EU, enabling the long-term reduction and reuse of food waste. WASTELESS will carry out five case studies to better understand the use and role/contribution of specific food groups—such as fruits and vegetables, fruit juices, processed meat, dairy products and cereals—in Food Loss and Waste.
