The event started with a reference panel that addressed recent technological advances in sensory analysis. The participants tested in loco some of the main technologies and equipment that the company Sense Test has, and a sensorial experience prepared by them. In the afternoon, it was possible to schedule intermediation meetings with company representatives, with a view to establishing relationships that would allow for future collaborations.
This event was organized by Colab4Food, together with PortugalFoods and the Sensory Analysis company - Sense Test.

Colab4Food is one of the institutional partners of the first conference on cellular agriculture in Portugal, which will take place on 7 and 8 September.
Organised by CellAgri Portugal - Portuguese Association for the Development of Cellular Agriculture, the conference will take place at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in Braga.

The 2nd edition of the Dare2Change conference presented disruption in the food sector – such as rice modified for cultivation in the ocean and milk protein obtained from cell culture – placing agrifood science and innovation on the agenda.
An enthusiastic audience of 400 people made the small auditorium of the Super Bock Arena Congress Center, in Porto, demonstrating the strong sense of mobilization of the Portuguese agri-food sector around the themes that are most important to its competitiveness: on the one hand, the scientific and technological advances that are coming to the industry and, on the other hand, the financing opportunities available to leverage the growth of the sector.
The conference program included the presentation of some of the most relevant initiatives being worked on in terms of food and technological disruption, as well as the efficiency and sustainability of processes – in Portugal and worldwide.

Agribusiness Sector Challenges under Debate
The Dare2Change conference brought together a wide range of scientists and academics, managers and entrepreneurs - national and international to discuss and anticipate the challenges facing the agri-food sector. The initiative, organized by PortugalFoods, Colab4Food and the Instituto Nacional de Investigação Agrária e Veterinária (INIAV, IP), showcased revolutionary developments, new perspectives and research on topics such as sustainability, nutrition and new trends that will change the agri-food sector.
During two days, 350 researchers, entrepreneurs, scientists and public kept the Super Bock Arena Congress Center full and "dared to change" the agri-food sector, in a reference to the name of the international conference Dare2Change.
TechDays are events powered by ColabFood, aimed at disseminating innovative technologies in the agri-food sector with academic and, essentially, industrial application, seeking to involve both communities in demonstration sessions by companies dedicated to their commercialization.
